DOS-GHA grant application closes on May 7

The DOS U.S. Mission to Ghana is offering a grant open from Feb. 2 to May 7.

The grant could provide up to $12,000.

The U.S. Embassy Accra of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a program under the Ambassador's Special Self-Help Program. The U.S. Ambassador's Special Self-Help Program's (SSH) goal is to provide small-scale assistance directly to Ghanaian community-based organizations as part of an ongoing commitment by the U.S. government to support Ghanaian-driven development activities at the local level. The SSH Program awards grants to registered non-governmental, non-profit, community-based organizations to implement short-term (12-month), small-scale (between $1,000 and $12,000) development projects that include significant community involvement. The Embassy encourages the submission of any proposal meeting the eligibility criteria. Please carefully follow all instructions on the application.
