“I'm shocked and saddened by what appears to have been the single deadliest terrorist attack in Somalia's history. Somalia is a resilient country, and I have been heartened to see the solidarity demonstrated by the hundreds of Mogadishu residents who gathered to donate blood for victims of the attack. My heart goes out to all who have been affected by this senseless violence.".
