House Foreign Affairs Committee Calls on U.S. Ambassador Woody Johnson to Testify

Washington-Representative Eliot L. Engel, Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, today called on U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom Robert “Woody" Johnson to testify in an open hearing in light of recent reports that Ambassador Johnson misused his diplomatic post to advance the personal and financial interests of Donald Trump and made racist and sexist comments to embassy staff.

Engel invited Ambassador Johnson to appear before the committee on Sept. 30, 2020.
