Washington, D.C. - House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul has released the following statement following North Korea’s recent launch of an ICBM.
“Kim Jong Un’s launch of a long-range ICBM is a direct threat to the security and safety of Americans and our allies. I strongly urge the administration to impose maximum pressure and meaningful consequences on the Kim regime and the networks that enable its continued nuclear and ballistic missile development - including in China and Russia. The United States will remain committed to our, allies the Republic of Korea and Japan, and the complete denuclearization of North Korea.".
