Peterson Commends Common Sense EPA Decision on E15

U.S. House Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Collin C. Peterson, D-Minn., made the following statement today after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved E15 for use in model year 2001-2006 vehicles.

“This is a significant step for the future of the ethanol industry. Today’s decision gives certainty to those in the industry and will create jobs, expand agriculture markets and make ethanol available to more consumers. A strong ethanol industry is essential to advancing the next generation of renewable fuels from the farm and reducing our dependence on foreign energy."
