Pecos NHP Fishing and Tour Closures; Visitor Center and Ancestral Sites Trail Remain Open

The summer fishing season at Pecos National Historical Park is delayed indefinitely due to the continued extreme risk of wildfire. Ranch House, Civil War, and backcountry pueblo tours are also canceled until fire risk abates. The park’s visitor center and Ancestral Sites Trail remain open to the public at this time. These restrictions are being put in place to help the National Park Service provide for public safety and reduce fire risk.

For more information about the park contact Pecos NHP at (505) 757-7241 or visit our website. You will also find our listings on the New Mexico True website and Tourism Santa Fe. Please like on us on Facebook or Instagram.
