Wyoming Woman Charged With Assault On A Federal Officer

U.S. Attorney for the District of Wyoming Christopher A. Crofts announced that on Oct. 21, 2013, Marion Joyce Kills Enemy, a 24-year-old Northern Arapaho Tribal Member, was charged in an information with one count of assaulting a federal officer in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 111(a)(1). The charge against Ms. Kills Enemy stemmed from an incident that occurred on Aug. 2, 2012 on the Wind River Indian Reservation. Ms. Kills Enemy is facing a potential of up to one year of imprisonment, and could be ordered to pay restitution, a fine, and special assessment. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation with the assistance of the Bureau of Indian of Affairs.
