Sentencing For February 27 - March 6, 2014

Randy W. Ayers, 36, of Gillette, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on March 6, 2014, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Ayers was arrested in Gillette, Wyoming. He received 40 months imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Victor David Villagomez-Duarte, 21, of Denver, Colorado, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on Feb. 27, 2014, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distributing at least 200 grams of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine and for distribution of methamphetamine and aiding and abetting. Villagomez-Duarte was arrested in Albany County, Wyoming. He received 46 months imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $500.00 fine and a $200.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
