BUFFALO, N.Y. -- U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced today that Anthony Drayton, Jr., 38, of Buffalo, NY, who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of crack cocaine, was sentenced to 108 months in prison by Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny.
Assistant U.S. Thomas S. Duszkiewicz, who handled the case, stated that between December 2010 and June 21, 2011, the defendant traveled from buffalo to Olean, NY to sell quantities of crack cocaine. On June 9 and June 21, 2011, Drayton sold crack cocaine to undercover police officers.
The sentencing is the culmination of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge James J. Hunt, New York Field Division, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, and the New York State Police, under the direction of Major Michael Cerretto.
