Indictment Alleges Illegal Reentry After Deportation

Doodnath Ramnath, a/k/a “Robert Kramer," 46, of Philadelphia, PA, was charged today by Indictment with illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment alleges that on or about Oct. 20, 2014, Ramnath, an alien, and native and citizen of Trinidad and Tobago, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about March 10, 2010.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of twenty years.

The case was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Elizabeth F. Abrams.

An Indictment is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
