Buffalo Woman Pleads Guilty To Conspiracy To Distribute Fentanyl

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of the United States Attorneys on Oct. 27, 2015. It is reproduced in full below.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank T. Pimentel, who is handling the case, stated that between May 7, 2013 and Sept. 26, 2013, the defendant conspired with co-defendant Fannie Long to distribute controlled substances. Specifically, while Long was incarcerated on other charges, Quisenberry filled a fentanyl prescription for Long and then sold the fentanyl patches at Long’s direction to a third party. Subsequently, while Long was still in custody, Quisenberry made a medical appointment for Long so that upon Long’s release she would be able to obtain more fentanyl patches to sell.

On other occasions Quisenberry sold hydrocodone pills, alprazolam pills, methodone pills, and crack cocaine to other individuals.

Long was previously convicted and sentenced to 96 months in prison for her role in the conspiracy.

This plea is the culmination of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge James J. Hunt, New York Field Office.

Sentencing is scheduled for March 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. before Judge Skretny.
