Bangor, Maine: United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that Willie Harper, 47, of Guilford, Maine, pleaded guilty today in U.S. District Court to one count of distribution of heroin and one count of distribution of oxycodone.
According to court records, on Aug. 13, 2015, Harper met with an undercover law enforcement officer at a grocery store parking lot. Harper provided the undercover officer with heroin in exchange for $500. On Aug. 27, 2015, Harper met with the undercover officer at a Rite-Aid parking lot. Harper provided the undercover officer with ten oxycodone pills in exchange for $500.
Harper faces up to 20 years in prison for each count, a $1,000,000 fine, and between three years and a lifetime of supervised release. He will be sentenced after the completion of a presentence investigation report by the U.S. Probation Office.
The investigation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Greenville, Maine, Police Department.
