ALEXANDRIA, La. - United States Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook announced that a Pineville man was sentenced Wednesday to 30 months in prison for counterfeiting and cashing checks.
Deshan Spivey, 31, of Pineville, La., who is originally from Ruston, La., was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Dee D. Drell to one count of making and possessing counterfeit securities of political subdivisions of the State of Louisiana.
