BUFFALO, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Victor Felix Dejesus, 36, of Buffalo, NY, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo to possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, heroin. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul C. Parisi, who is handling the case, stated that on four separate occasions between Nov. 10, 2016, and May 4, 2017, the defendant sold 20 to 30 grams of heroin to an individual working with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
The plea is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge James J. Hunt, New York Field Division, and the New York State Attorney General’s Office, under the direction of Barbara Underwood.
Sentencing is scheduled for September 7, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. before Judge Vilardo.
