Robert A. Harden, 45, of Calhoun, IL, was sentenced today to federal prison on methamphetamine related charges, Steven D. Weinhoeft, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced today.
On Dec. 10, 2018, Harden was sentenced to 108 months’ imprisonment and four years’ supervised release following his imprisonment. Harden had previously pleaded guilty to two counts in a federal indictment.
Count 1 charged that from on or about 2016, until on or about August 2017, in Richland County, Harden conspired to knowingly and intentionally distribute more than 5 grams of crystal methamphetamine, commonly referred to as "Ice." Count 2 charged that on or about Jan. 20, 2017, in Effingham County, Harden knowingly and intentionally possessed with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.
The investigation in this case was conducted by the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.
