SAVANNAH, GA: “It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss and honor the selfless service of Savannah Police Department Sgt. Kelvin Ansari," said Bobby L. Christine, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia. “After serving 21 years in the U.S. Army, and 10 years as a police officer in Savannah, Sgt. Ansari exemplifies the type of leader who deserves the respect and appreciation of a grateful nation. On behalf of the U.S. Attorney’s Office and our many law enforcement partners, we join in expressing our deepest sympathy to Sgt. Ansari’s wife and four children, and to his many brothers and sisters in blue. Our heartfelt prayers for their comfort are with them today."
