BUFFALO, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Frank Rowles, 59, of Lewiston, NY, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo to possession with intent to distribute cocaine. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, and a fine of $1,000,000.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Justin G. Bish, who is handling the case, stated that on Jan. 3, 2019, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at 5150 Homestead Place in Lewiston, NY, and recovered two digital scales and a quantity of cocaine.
The plea is the result of an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Kevin Kelly, and the Niagara County Drug Task Force, under the direction of Niagara County Sheriff James Voutour.
Sentencing is scheduled for March 6, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. before Judge Vilardo. #
