Rapid City Man Found Not Guilty in Federal Court

Acting United States Attorney Dennis R. Holmes announced that a Rapid City, South Dakota, man was acquitted of two counts of Sexual Abuse as a result of a federal jury trial in Rapid City, South Dakota, on Oct. 28, 2021.

Brandon Lindemann, a/k/a Brandon Lindeman, age 36, was indicted by a federal grand jury on Sept. 17, 2020.

The charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of a juvenile female at a time when she was incapable of declining participation near Porcupine in February 2020.

The investigation was conducted by the Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The U.S. Attorney's Office prosecuted the case.
