WASHINGTON - The Bureau of Reclamation has joined the Energy Providers Coalition for Education to enable employees to gain access to online energy education and training, including industry-endorsed degree and certificate programs.

"A need to increase training opportunities for employees in the power community was identified by Reclamation's Apprenticeship and Power Training Committee," Reclamation's Senior Advisor for Hydropower Kerry McCalman said. "Offering training provided through EPCE contributes to Reclamation having quality up-to-date training for its power employees."

By joining EPCE, Reclamation offers a wide variety of programs designed for today’s workers balancing a full-time job and family obligations. All courses are offered entirely online through EPCE’s accredited education partners and cover the breadth and depth of energy, including many of the new innovations in the energy industry such as renewable energy, smart grid, electrical engineering, power systems, nuclear power, and electric power.
