News Release: Taneytown Road and Hunt Avenue: On June 30 from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., the National Park Service will temporarily close Taneytown Road for a special event, the "Gettysburg: A New Birth of Freedom" commemorative ceremony. The road closure will be from the Museum and Visitor Center Entrance Road north to the Steinwehr Avenue intersection.Road. Hunt Avenue will also be closed during this time.

Crews are monitoring the re-pressurization of the pipeline, which should be completed by noon on Sunday, June 30. BLM to Resume Jackson Mountains HMA Gather July 1

News Release: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will resume gathering excess wild horses from the Jackson Mountains Herd Management Area (HMA) Sunday, July 1, and is expected to last about two weeks.
