KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.
- The Bureau of Reclamation announces that sealed bids to lease 62 parcels of federal agricultural lands, totaling 8,630 acres, are being received until
Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. A public bid opening will be held at the Klamath Basin Area office at 10:00 a.m. the same day.
Bidding instructions, lease information, a sample copy of the lease contract, location maps, and bid forms that must be used in submitting bids are
available at the Klamath Basin Area Office, 6600 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls, OR 97603 and at the Tulelake Irrigation District, 2717 Havlina Road,
Tulelake, CA 96134.
Open for bid:
· 23 grain lots and 11 grass lots - Area K, Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge

13 lots - Sump 2, Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge
*
13 lots - Sump 3, Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge
*
1 lot - Area J, Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge
*
1 organic lot - Frey’s Island, Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge
Some lots are suitable for alfalfa, potatoes, onions, and grain, additionally, some may qualify for organic production.
