Reclamation releases final environmental documents for Cypress Preserve Property Inclusion Project

FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released the Final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the proposed Contra Costa Water District’s Cypress Preserve Property Inclusion Project.

The project involves CCWD’s inclusion of a 1,244 acre mixed-use residential development that would be located in the city of Oakley. The inclusion would allow CCWD to deliver Central Valley Project water to the proposed Cypress Preserve Property development that would comprise both residential and commercial uses, public schools, parks, lakes, wetlands, flood control levees, roads and a bridge.

The Final EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=30301.
