Reclamation hosts classic car show and parade at Shasta Dam

SHASTA LAKE, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation and the Shasta Lake Lion’s Club will host a classic car show and parade at Shasta Dam, featuring vintage vehicles from across Northern California and a “Best in Show" competition.

What: “Show and Shine" car show and parade across Shasta Dam at 11 a.m.

Who: The Bureau of Reclamation and the Shasta Lake Lion’s Club

Where: Shasta Dam visitor center parking lot, 16439 Shasta Dam Blvd., Shasta Lake, CA

When: Thursday, April 25, 9 a.m. - noon

Why: This community outreach event attracts car enthusiasts from all over Northern California to share their passion for classic cars. All cars are welcome. The Shasta Lake Lion’s Club will provide breakfast and lunch during the event.

Photo Opportunities: A parade of classic cars will roll across Shasta Dam, offering a view of the car parade with a full lake and Mt. Shasta as the backdrop. The entries will be judged with the winner receiving a “Best in Show" certificate.
