FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation and the California Department of Water Resources announced a public negotiation session with seven Cross Valley contractors on a long-term conveyance contract for delivery of federal Central Valley Project water through state-owned facilities.
Reclamation, DWR, and the contractors have previously entered into successive, short-term interim renewal contracts pursuant to the Central Valley Project Improvement Act, which included both federal water service and state conveyance terms and conditions. DWR has requested that its conveyance responsibilities be defined in a separate contract that is exclusive of Reclamation’s water service responsibilities.

Aug. 10, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., PDT
