FBI Requests the Public’s Assistance to Identify Robbery Suspect

David P. Gelios, special agent in charge, FBI Detroit Division, announced that the FBI is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a robbery suspect.

The robbery occurred last Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the CVS Pharmacy located at 3200 E. Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. At approximately 1:00 p.m., a black male wearing an Ecko jacket, white cargo shorts, black knit cap, and sunglasses gained access to the employee-only office in the pharmacy, waiting for an employee to enter. Once a clerk entered the office, the suspect, armed with a handgun, demanded that the clerk open the safe. The robber then stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is depicted in the surveillance photographs below.

This individual should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding this individual, or this incident, is asked to contact the FBI Detroit Field Office at (313) 965-2323.
