FBI Offering Reward for Information on the Five O'clock Bandits

The Parker, Aurora, Thornton, and Arapahoe County Police Departments and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating six bank robberies believed to have been committed by the same pair of individuals.

The first suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 30 to 40 years of age, 5’8"-5’9" tall, medium build, five o’clock shadow facial hair.

The second suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 30 to 40 years of age, 5’9"- 6’0" tall, thin build, five o’clock shadow facial hair.

During the robberies, the suspects pass notes demanding money from bank employees. They make efforts to disguise their identities by growing out facial hair and using hats and glasses. There were no weapons seen and no one was injured.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
