Albuquerque Bank Robber Flees on Sport Bicycle

Albuquerque Bank Robber Flees on Sport Bicycle

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for a man who robbed a northeast Albuquerque bank and fled on a sport bicycle Thursday afternoon, Sept. 14, 2017.

The suspect is described as approximately 5'6" tall. His face and head were covered and he wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

At approximately 2:54 p.m., the suspect walked into Bank of America, located at 6605 Uptown Boulevard NE.

He displayed a handgun and took money from a teller counter.

The suspect left the bank on a gray or green BMX-style bicycle and was last seen in the area of San Pedro Drive NE.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
