FBI Media Alert: Deadline to apply for FBI Albuquerque Teen Academy is May 2

High school students are being offered a chance this summer to see what life is like working for the FBI in Albuquerque, but they better hurry.

The FBI Albuquerque Teen Academy allows high school students (rising 11th and 12th graders for the 2018-2019 school year) an opportunity to get a comprehensive look into today’s FBI.

The Teen Academy will take place June 25 to 29, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the FBI Field Office in Albuquerque.

Students are provided with presentations on a wide range of topics, including terrorism, cyber security, public corruption, evidence processing, SWAT, and the day-to-day operations in a typical FBI office.

The program is limited to 30 participants, and the deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

Students can request an application by sending an e-mail to aq.outreach@fbi.gov.

Anyone with questions should call (505) 889-1330.
