FBI Offers $1,000 Reward in 2017 Homicide on Navajo Nation

FBI Offers $1,000 Reward in 2017 Homicide on Navajo Nation

The FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a 2017 homicide on the Navajo Nation.

On Aug. 19, 2017, Donnie Wade Barney’s body was discovered inside a hogan-a traditional Navajo hut of logs and earth-on Shadow Farm Road in Rehoboth, New Mexico.

An autopsy indicated Barney died from stab wounds to his torso.

The FBI and Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety are investigating.
