FBI Media Alert: Man Robs Albuquerque Bank, Flees in Black Texas Car

FBI Media Alert: Man Robs Albuquerque Bank, Flees in Black Texas Car

The FBI is looking for a man who robbed a northwest Albuquerque bank on Monday morning, Sept. 17, 2018, and fled in a black Hyundai Elantra with a Texas license plate.

The robbery occurred at Wells Fargo, 3801 4th Street NW, at approximately 9:51 a.m.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 5'7" to 5'8" tall, with a beard.

He wore a green jacket, black baseball cap, and sunglasses.

He entered the bank and presented a demand note to a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect.

The suspect was last seen heading south on 5th Street NW in a black Hyundai Elantra with Texas plate JCY 7757.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the FBI at (505) 889-1300, or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at (505) 843-STOP.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
