FBI Media Alert: Man Robs Wells Fargo Bank in Santa Fe

FBI Media Alert: Man Robs Wells Fargo Bank in Santa Fe

The FBI and Santa Fe Police Department are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo branch on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019.

The robbery occurred at Wells Fargo, 502 North Guadalupe Street, in Santa Fe at approximately 1:23 p.m.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 40s, approximately 5'8" tall, with a medium build. He had short black hair.

He wore a black baseball cap, long-sleeve black shirt, and dark denim pants.

The suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note to a teller, who gave him an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was seen walking west from the bank.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
