FBI, Rio Rancho Police Look for Man Who Robbed Bank, Fled on Bicycle
The FBI and Rio Rancho Police Department are looking for a man who robbed a BBVA Compass Bank on Oct. 24, 2019, and then fled on a bicycle.
The robbery occurred at the branch located at 1201 Rio Rancho Boulevard SE at approximately 9:24 a.m.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 50 to 60 years old, with a black and gray moustache and beard.
He wore a light-colored baseball cap with a dark brim; sunglasses; a green windbreaker; blue jeans; and black shoes with white soles.
The suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note to a teller, who gave him an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect fled north riding a mountain bicycle with a cargo rack above the front tire.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
