FBI Requesting Tips on December 2019 Bank Robbery
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery committed late last year (2019) in San Diego, California.
On December 5, 2019, at approximately 5:49 p.m., a black female entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 9232 Miramar Road, San Diego, California. The robber entered the bank, approached an open teller station, and made a verbal demand for money. The robber also motioned to the waistband of her pants indicating she was carrying a weapon. The teller complied with the robber’s demand and provided money from the teller drawer. After receiving the cash and placing it in a black bag, the robber fled on foot. Notably, the robber had a white bandage covering her right hand.
Witnesses have described the robber as follows:
* Sex: Female
* Race: Black
* Age: Unknown
* Height: 5’6" tall
* Build: Medium
* Clothing: Black framed glasses, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes
* Other: White bandage over right hand; black bag
* Weapon: Not seen but motioned to waistband during the robbery
