Census Bureau to Announce Findings for National 2021 Income, Poverty and Health Insurance Coverage Statistics

What:

The U.S. Census Bureau is scheduled to hold an online news conference to announce the findings of three reports – Income in the United States: 2021; Poverty in the United States: 2021; and Health Insurance in the United States: 2021.

The income, poverty and health insurance reports provide national statistics from the Current Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement (CPS ASEC). Income and poverty estimates are being released in separate reports this year and the Supplemental Poverty Measure (SPM) estimates will be included as part of the poverty report for the first time. (SPM was formerly a separate report).

Census Bureau officials will take questions from the media after the findings are presented.
