BLM Alaska conveys final land entitlement to the Native Village of Atqasuk

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Bureau of Land Management Alaska recently conveyed 18,143 acres of land to the Atqasuk Corporation fulfilling its Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act sections 12(a) and 12(b) entitlement of over 73,000 acres of land. The village is located within the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska about 55 miles south of Barrow.
