Work to begin on Park Center Well

CANON CITY, Colo. - The Bureau of Land Management Royal Gorge Field Office is set to begin work on the Park Center Well this week. Construction on the site will require the use of a short bypass road on Red Canyon Road. Work on the well is expected to take less than two weeks.

Park Center Well is an 80-year-old artesian well located on BLM-administered public lands near Cañon City. The well supplies domestic and fire suppression uses to approximately 4,000 users in the Park Center Water District.
