DOLORES, Colo. - Today, the Bureau of Land Management granted an additional 30 days for comment submissions regarding the establishment of Areas of Critical Environmental Concern in San Miguel, San Juan, Dolores, Montezuma and Montrose counties. Comments will be most helpful if received by May 4, 2016.
The BLM is looking at 18 areas covering 130,000 acres identified for ACEC analysis in the Tres Rios Resource Management Plan. Further information about each area is available at http://www.blm.gov/co/st/en/BLM_Information/nepa/TRFO_NEPA/acecs.html.
