The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Oklahoma Field Office is consolidating its Tulsa and Oklahoma City offices into a new facility in Norman, Oklahoma. The move is expected to improve organizational and operational efficiency for the benefit of customers and the public. Due to the consolidation, the office located in Tulsa, at 7906 East 33rd Street, Suite 101, is formally closing its doors today, Sept. 30, 2016, and is moving its operations and staff temporarily to the Federal Courthouse at 200 Northwest 4th Street, Room 2401, Oklahoma City. The field office will move to its permanent space in Norman at 5 Partners Place on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. The projected opening date of the new facility is Oct. 24, 2016.
During the period of transition, customers doing business with BLM in Tulsa can now call 405-234-5900. The BLM will strive to maintain customer service, and to stay abreast of priority workloads in its minerals and realty programs.
The BLM Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Program serving Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, and New Mexico will continue without disruption throughout the transition. Visit www.blm.gov/nm/whb for the adoption event schedule and more information.
