Coeur d’Alene, ID - The Bureau of Land Management Coeur d’Alene Field Office will be applying for state recreation grants for trail, recreation and waterway improvements for the Ross Point recreation site in Post Falls.

The Field Office recently completed an environmental analysis and plans significant improvements at the site along the Spokane River. Conceptual designs include a paved ADA-accessible trail to the waterfront, a restroom, walking paths and picnic sites, designated parking sites with safe egress/ingress to Maplewood Ave., and a small group picnic shelter. A small craft/fishing dock is also planned with a buoyed-off swim area.

The Field Office is seeking grant funding in order to leverage agency funds for the project.
