BLM to Hold Public Meetings on Firewood Collection

Albuquerque, N.M. - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking input from the public about proposed changes to the administration of firewood and other forest product removal activities in the Rio Puerco Field Office area. The BLM will hold the following public meetings:

* Wednesday, June 14 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., at the Sandoval County Fairgrounds, 37 Rodeo Road, Cuba, New Mexico

* Tuesday, June 20 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., at City Hall, 600 West Santa Fe Avenue, Grants, New Mexico

* Wednesday, June 21 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., at the BLM Albuquerque District Office, 100 Sun Ave, NE, Suite 330, Albuquerque, New Mexico
