POCATELLO, ID - The Bureau of Land Management Pocatello Field Office and Upper Snake Field Office will be issuing firewood cutting permits June 1 through Nov. 30, 2017.
Permits are available at the following locations:
• Idaho Falls Visitor Center: 425 N. Capitol Ave in Idaho Falls, Idaho, 208-523-1012
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Note: By mid-June, the Idaho Falls Visitor Center will be moving to its new location at 355 River Parkway, Idaho Falls.
• Pocatello Field Office: 4350 S. Cliffs Drive in Pocatello, Idaho, 208-478-6340
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
You must have a valid permit to cut and/or remove wood from public lands. Firewood cutting areas are designated. Please keep SAFETY FIRST when cutting or loading wood!
