Salem, Ore. - The Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Northwest Oregon District, Upper Willamette Field Office is accepting scoping comments on the Shotcash Timber Sale Project, located approximately 5 miles north of Marcola, OR. This project is a great example of the BLM’s commitment to serving the American family by being good neighbors, supporting traditional land uses such as logging, and providing access to hunting, fishing, and other recreational opportunities.
The BLM will hold a public meeting on May 31, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Willamalane Park and Recreation District’s Bob Keefer Center (Heron Room), located at 250 S. 32nd Street, in Springfield, OR. The meeting will be an open house format where attendees can view project maps, ask questions of the project team, and provide comments on the project.
