ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Bureau of Land Management Rio Puerco Field Office is announcing a temporary closure of Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument November 12 - 15, 2019, while new facility improvements are installed. The new facilities include a double vault toilet and recycling receptacles.
Heavy machinery use will limit access to only authorized construction workers and BLM employees. By providing these additional facilities, the BLM strives to provide a more positive visitor experience and improve visitor health and safety.
