(BILLINGS, Mont.) - The Bureau of Land Management Billings Field Office is accepting public comment on a proposal to treat vegetation on approximately 500 acres in Carbon County.
The Southern Carbon County Vegetative Treatment Environmental Assessment analyzes potential impacts from projects that would remove encroaching conifers from priority sage grouse habitat, as well as removing vegetation that is encroaching on rock art sites in Weatherman Draw.
Comments must be received by July 20.
