Lakeview, Ore. - National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the nation’s largest single-day volunteer event for public lands. Established in 1994, NPLD celebrates the connection between people and public lands, inspires environmental stewardship, and encourages open space for education, recreation, and health benefits. This year, National Public Lands Day falls on Sept. 26, 2020.

While the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lakeview District will not be hosting any work projects this year, there are still many ways for the public to participate.
