Songs from the Oregon Trail Featuring “Buffalo Bill” and Dr. Jo

CASPER, Wyo. - Join the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center for a music performance by celebrated “Buffalo Bill" and Dr. Jo performing songs about the pioneer experience on the Oregon Trail this Saturday.

Bill Boycott and Joanne Orr are “Buffalo Bill" and Dr. Jo - singers and songwriters of American folk music. Harmonizing together for over 14 years, the musical duo performs both traditional and original tunes. Utilizing the banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and guitar, “Buffalo Bill" and Dr. Jo aim to enrich the legacy of the American West through their performances.

• Saturday at 1:00 p.m. - Special Performance: Songs from the Oregon Trail

“Music was a large part of life on the Oregon Trail. It lifted spirits and helped celebrate accomplishments" said Kathleen Hanson, Education Technician. “We’re excited to have “Buffalo Bill" and Dr. Jo here, bringing these experiences to life through music. I invite everyone to come up and see this amazing duo at work."
