CASPER, Wyo. - Visit the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center this Saturday to learn about the key figures in the movement to commemorate the great Westward migrations of the mid-1800s.
At 1 p.m. on Nov. 20, Trails Center interpreter Reid Miller will present “A Pioneer’s Vision Realized." This one-hour presentation reflects on the beginnings of the historic trails preservation efforts of the 20th century.
“Our nation set a positive example for the world by establishing the means of protecting many aspects of our heritage," said Trails Center manager Dennis Kuhnel. “The Trails Center owes its purpose and existence to the many devoted persons of vision, and Saturday we’ll recognize a few of them and their lasting legacy."
