Trails Center hosts Live Pioneer Music Weekend

CASPER, Wyo. - Join the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center July 2 and 3 for a weekend of old-fashioned pioneer music with American folk singer Hank Cramer.

Cramer, known for his booming voice and vintage flat-top guitar, boasts a repertoire of more than a thousand modern and traditional songs. His humor, passion for history, and music makes for an entertaining and educational experience. Cramer will be speaking about America’s westward migration and its traditional songs. Both Saturday and Sunday, he will perform throughout the day music associated with different trail history. Cramer will play for approximately 45 minutes per set during each of the following times.

Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3

* 10 a.m. - Oregon Trail Songs

* 12 p.m. - California Trial Songs

* 2 p.m. - Soldier Ballads
