Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Representative to the United Nations, met today with Dominque Hasler, Liechtenstein’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education, and Sports. Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield expressed appreciation for Liechtenstein’s efforts to support Ukrainian refugees and hold Russia accountable for its brutal war on Ukraine, including through its strict enforcement of sanctions.
Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield thanked Liechtenstein for its leadership on the U.S. co-sponsored resolution requiring a General Assembly meeting when a veto is cast.
