The International Kootenay Lake Board of Control will hold its annual public meeting at the Best Western Kootenai River Inn Casino in Bonners Ferry, Idaho at 7 p.m. PDT on October 5. There is also an option to participate virtually.
The Board will present information on the regulation of Kootenay Lake and Corra Linn Dam operations under the International Joint Commission’s Orders of Approval. The Board will also present information on Kootenay Lake water level management, including an overview of lake levels for 2021/2022 (to date), and hear questions and comments from the public regarding lake level management and the Board’s activities.
These meetings normally alternate each year between Nelson, British Columbia, and Bonners Ferry, Idaho. This meeting will occur in Bonners Ferry with the additional option to participate online. Pre-registration for virtual participation using GoToWebinar is required using the Board website. No registration is required for in-person participation.
